А навошта нам ангельскі альфабэт на галоўнай старонцы? Калі зайсьці на ангельскі варыянт wiktionary, то там беларускага альфабэту не назіраецца. --Geniot 11:10, 22.04.2006 (UTC)

Прапаную падумаць наконт індэксавых старонак. Мне здаецца цяперашняя схема нейкай хібнай. Можа, хто што параіць, абапіраючыся на досвед іншых Вікі-слоўнікаў? Mienski 18:09, 24 Красавік 2007 (UTC)

Адразу хацеў іх павыдаляць, бо калі будуць дзесяткаі тысяч слоў, то хто іх будзе напаўняць, але падумаў нехай пакуль будуць у асобна скрынцы мо нашто і спатрэбяцца. А замест індэксаў звычайныя катэгорыі. Зараз вывучаю вопыт іншых слоўнікаў. --MaximLitvin 09:47, 25 Красавік 2007 (UTC)

У англійскай Вікі ёсць артыкулы па фанетыцы рускай і польскай моў. Можна будзе кантрастыўна + абапіраючыся на артыкулы па гуках (а яны там вельмі багатыя на інфармацыю, у тым ліку ў некаторых з іх змешчаны звесткі і па беларускай мове), скласці сваю табліцу. Думаю, калі ўсё будзе добра, то на першамайскія вакацыі зраблю гэту працу. Галоўнае, пакуль пакідаць хаця б пусты {{transcription|}} шаблон для артыкулаў, бо потым па катэгорыі "Трэба вымаўленне" дапоўнім, грунтуючыся на складзеную "гукарню". Таксама варта будзе потым змясціць IPA-звесткі і па іншых найбольш ужываных тут, мовах (рускай, украінскай, англійскай, польскай і г.д.) Mienski 11:34, 25 Красавік 2007 (UTC)

Кали ласка, карыстайцеся беларускай фанетычнай транскрыпцыяй. У Вас яшчэ памылка наяуная з нашым бил санантам, на першы позирк, их там болей, ИПА з артыкула наогул трэба выдалиць --

Можна шмат чаго змяниць, але ж кали справа падыдзе да спецыфичных беларуских гукау, то руки апускаюцца. Бо дзякуй Падлужнаму: такия характарыстыки дау, што чорт галаву паламае. Наконт увогуле ИПА я цалкам згодны, але: 1. Беларускамоуным лягчэй чытаць бел. фан. транскрыпцыю. 2. Раз няма афицыйнай ИПА, то так и написаць на гал. старонцы : да тытульнай мовы данага слоуника адсутн. ИПА. Fundraising 2010

Hello Wikimedians,

As many of you are aware, we are now two months away from the Fundraiser for the Wikimedia Foundation, 2010. We have lofty goals, and we can meet them and exceed them!

The meta translators are already actively engaged in the annual drive to distribute our messages and we encourage you to do the same, but we would like to point everyone to the developments we've made in banner messages- from creation to commentary to the ones that will go live for test and for the drive itself in November. It's one of our goals to make sure that all volunteers know that there is a place for them in the Fundraising drive. We've started the setup on meta for both banner submission, statistical analysis, and grouping volunteers together that would like to find specific focus and work in that area.

This year the Wikimedia Foundation is taking a proactive stance in reaching out to each and every Wikimedia project and volunteer to find innovation, collaboration, and collation of ideas from the community driven process. The staff working on this is comprised of long-time Wikimedians with as much care and concern for the success of this drive as the volunteers, and we want you to actively participate and have a voice.

Use the talk pages on meta, talk to your local communities, talk to others, talk to us. Engagement is what we strive for, without each other we would never had made Wikimedia succeed. Everyone is welcome to contact any of us on staff at any time with a timely response to follow. We actively encourage focusing discussion on meta so we can all work together.

Localise your wiki logo

The official localisable Wiktionary logo

Hello! It was noted that Wiktionary in this language has not yet adopted a localised/translated logo: it's really a pity for a dictionary project!
We are trying to help Wiktionaries adopt a locally-adapted logo, by taking the technical difficulties on us. What we need from you is just the preferred translation of the name and motto, "Wiktionary" (if translated) and "The free dictionary": you can add them to the logo list, by editing it directly or commenting on the talk page; you can also add a note if you don't want the localised logo.
Of course, you can also create the logo and make the necessary requests on bugzilla yourself, if you prefer so.

Wikimania 2015 scholarships

Wikimedia Polska Association will fund up to two international scholarships to this year's Wikimania conference, to take place in Mexico City, on July 15-19, 2015, covering air fare, conference fee, accomodation and insurance. Wikimania 2016 scholarships

Dear Wikimedians,

As every year, Wikimedia Polska Association is accepting scholarship requests for this year’s Wikimania, to be held at the Italian town of Esino Lario, June 22-28. The scholarship encompasses travel expenses, accomodation, insurance and the possible conference fee. Please submit your requests by email to wikimania@wikimedia.pl from March 14, 00:00:01 (CET) by March 27, 23:59:59 (CET). Up to two international scholarships will be funded. The scholarship request, submitted in English or Polish, ought to contain:

• short description of your activity within the Wikimedia movement, your real name, your global username or local usernames, Wikimedia activity outside project editing (including local chapter activity), prior input into the Wikimedia conferences, especially international ones;
• information about your desired participation in the conference: planned or submitted lectures or other activities during Wikimania or its associated events;
• information about your forecast activity in pre- and post-conference activities, with the justification for participating in these non-core conference activities;
• declaration of your command of English sufficient to actively participate in the conference;
• information about the international airport closest to your place of residence;
• declaration of being 18 years or older; in case of younger applicants, 16-18, a scan of a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent to the participation in the conference;
• the information on citizenship(s) held;
• agreement to provide and process your personal data (name, address, bank account details, passport number) if the scholarship is granted. Please, do not provide these personal details in the application itself, apart from your real name.

Wikimania 2017 scholarship programme

Following the tradition of previous years, Wikimedia Polska Association has launched the ’’’Wikimania 2017’’’ scholarship programme. One international scholarship will be awarded this year, for the conference which will take place in Montreal, Canada, August 9-13. If you meet the requirements described in the ruleset, you may submit your application by April 7, 2017 to the email address provided in the ruleset. Складанасці для ўваходу новых рэдактараў Вікіслоўніку

Я, як зусім нявопытны рэдактар Вікіслоўніку хачу звярнуць увагу, што, на жаль, збольшага ў мяне ўражанне, што праект закінуты і пусты, а каб пачаць штосьці напаўняць патрэбны: - Раздзел з матэрыяламі для базавага навучэння рэдагавання артыкулаў у Вікіслоўніку; - Шаблоны на беларускай, а не гішпанскай, мове; - Раздзел з правіламі афармлення артыкулаў, каб была агульная ўпарадкаванасць.

Адной з прычынаў пералічаных праблем бачу тое, што ў Вікіслоўніку ўсяго адзін адміністратар. Таксама я бачу іншыя спрадвечныя праблемы, якія нібы некаму вырашаць, няма групы людзей, якая б займалася тэхнічнай падтрымкай функцыянавання праекта. Трэба фармаванне такой групы, бо зараз нібы ўзнік вакуум адказнасці, але гэта на мой першы дылетантскі погляд. Plaga med (размовы) 13:47, 11 верасня 2022 (UTC)
